I saw Tim Holtz Distress Specialty Stamping paper that had a mattecoating that offers a smooth surface for blending and coloring. I wanted to see if I could get that smooth look when sponging distress ink that you see on the cards on the internet. So the paper arrived and I used it. For some reason, my sponging with any ink never looks as smooth or even as most I see online. Well, this paper didn't make any difference for me. I could still see all the circular motions I made and the unevenness of the sponging. So, I used my balloon punch and MFT die to create today's pretty birthday card from the sponging that was blotchy~~and it looks perfect! Have a great day!
