An Easter Chick
I have had Lawn Fawn's Happy Hatchling die set for a couple of years. I think it is an adorable die set and the dies make it easy to create cute Easter cards. I used retired and current Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up for today's card and the Stitched Scallop Circle dies from My Favorite Things. Have a great day and find yourself a little stampin' time!

So Pretty
As I finished these two cards, I thought, "These are so pretty". On both cards, the background layer for the butterflies were created using Distress Oxide Inks and brushes. I then splattered a little water to give the backgrounds a bit of texture. Next time, I will splatter a little more water. The splatter spots are barely noticeable. Once again I used butterflies punched from Stampin' UP's Botanical Butterflies paper that is free with $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration. Have a great day!

Pink & Blue Birthday Cards
About the only thing I use my Scan N Cut for is to cut out stamped images. The other day I came across the word "happy" as I was scrolling thru the SNC menu on the machine. The font and shape of the word were so cute that I cut out a few of them for today's cards. Lawn Fawn's Elphie Selfie stamp set included the balloon, elephant and cake images. The little cupcake is from a retired Stampin' Up set and the "birthday" is from Lawn Fawn's Hats Off To You stamp set. The Fancy Scallop Rectangle dies, used for layers on each card, are also from Lawn Fawn. Have a great day!

Checked Paper
I survived the surgery! A week ago today I was a nervous wreck and here I am now at home and doing good. Thank you all for your well wishes.
Today's cards were created using images from Penny Black's Nature's Wishes stamp set. The birdbath card used two patterns of Stampin' Up's Designer Series Paper, Botanical Butterfly. The garden card was created using Stampin' Up's Garden Gala Designer Series Paper and coordinating Highland Heather cardstock. The cards remind me that Spring s right around the corner. Have a great day!

For John
John and I will be celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary tomorrow. This is the anniversary card I made for John. I used Stampin' Up's Large Letters dies for the "love" and strips of their retired Valentine paper to border the center section. The phrase "to my" is from a Stampin' Up set and "otter half" is from MFT's Otterly Love You set. The little otter holding the heart is also from the Otterly Love You stamp set. I used my Misti to center "to my" next to "otter half". Little hearts complete the card. Have a great weekend and find yourself a little stampin' time!

Valentine Favors
Sunday was Cricut Sunday and pictured are the favors the ladies received. The paper used is Echo Park's Dots and Stripes while the Hershey nuggets were covered with Stampin' Up retired paper. The initial cost to make these favors was a little costly by the time you purchase the two die sets and nugget pouches. However, the favors are fun to make and are adorable. Plus, you can use the Treat Tag dies to create cute tags for cards and packages. Maybe in the future MFT will make plain rectangular pouches to fit the die so you are not limited to using Hershey Nuggets. Depending on the paper you use, these are perfect for a variety of holidays and celebrations. Have a great day!

Hot Drink Day
Sunny Studio Stamps' Hug Mugs stamp set worked perfectly for a Valentine. I sent this one to a special couple up in Michigan. I am sure they are into hot coffee and hot chocolate these cold and snowy days~~just as we are! The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Love Letters stamp set. Have a great day and find yourself a little stampin' time.

Thinking Spring!
The last few weeks have been too wintry! So last night, as I listened to the wind, I decided to make a "Happy Spring" card. I used Stampin' Up's Gala Gingham paper for a couple of the layers and then the cute girl and chicks from the Rain or Shine stamp set by My Favorite Things. I hope the groundhog was right last week and that Spring will be early! Stay warm and have a great weekend!

Fun Thank Yous
For today's cards I used Lawn Fawn's Love Letters stamp set and colored pencils. I used retired Pixie Pink cardstock from Stampin' Up and the plaid paper is from My Favorite Things. I will be needing thank you cards in the future, so I am working on them now. These two cards are cute and fun! Have a great day!

Beautiful Butterflies
Today's cards were created using Stampin' Up's Butterfly Duet punch and the Botanical Butterfly paper available during Sale-a-bration. For both cards I punched the larger butterflies from the paper.
For the card on the left, I used SU's Layering Circles and adhered a punched butterfly. After stamping the sentiment (Butterfly Gala stamp set), I adhered the circle using dimensionals and added the twine bow.
For the card on the right, I again used a larger punched butterfly and adhered it directly to the white cardstock layer. For both cards I used a strip of the Botanical Butterfly paper along the left edge. Pretty cards created with pretty supplies. Unfortunately, for now, the butterfly punch is not available. I read that they are estimated to be back in stock in mid-March. Have a great day and be careful on the ice!

From the Dogs
This Valentine was fun to create. I wanted to make a Valentine for Matt from his dogs. I needed four dogs and wanted to use use the Mailbox from the Pretty Pink Posh set, Happy Mail. The dog on the mailbox is from MFT's Up In The Air set and the three other dogs are from other MFT stamp sets~~New Best Friend and Best Buddies. The little dogs look so happy and excited watching their
brown dog dropping hearts out of the mailbox! I used blue cardstock and added some clouds and used a Lawn Fawn die to make the grass. I am sure Matt will get a kick of this! Have a great day!

Valentine For Ayden
I made this cute Valentine for a cute little boy. I started out with the Three Hearts die from Avery Elle and white cardstock. The white cardstock was layered on Melon Mambo cardstock. The little animal faces peeking from the edges of the hearts are from MFT's Up in the Air stamp set. After coloring and cutting out the little critters, I adhered them using dimensionals. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted's Scrumptious Occasions stamp set. I added a few additional little hearts to the white space.
On another note, I read on Splitcoaststampers that Cricut is doing away with the Cuttlebug. If you have a Cuttlebug, you might want to stock up on cuttings plates and other accessories before they can't be found. Have a great day!

Balloon with Dog
My Favorite Things stamp set, Up In The Air, is adorable. In addition to three hot air balloons, the set includes different animal faces for the largest balloon, multiple sentiments and even a little house and trees to make a scene. I chose to use the cloud stencil to create puffy clouds in the background. I used Copic markers to color the images. The green plaid paper is from Lawn Fawn. This is a perfect card to celebrate a little boy's birthday.
My Favorite Things is introducing new stamps and dies on their blog that will be available on February 5th. I hope there aren't too many new things I need! Have a great weekend and enjoy the warmer weather!
