Bird Ballad

After all of the Halloween cards and favors, a simple card was on my to-do list.  Stampin' Up's Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper is very pretty and I never purchased it.  But my friend, Paula, did and she shared!  I used Always Artichoke cardstock and Soft Suede ink and they were a good match to the  the DSP.  The sentiment is from a long-ago retired stamp set, Sincere Salutations.  After stamping the sentiment, I punched it out with SU's Timeless Label punch and sponged the edges lightly with Soft Suede ink. I finished the card with a little bow which was made with Braided Linen Trim.  Have a great day!
