A Turkey Vulture?

You know that I enjoy sharing pictures of the pretty birds that I see while on vacation or those splashing in the bird bath in the yard. As a matter of fact, I just yesterday I posted a picture of a robin.  Well, as I was sitting in my office after entering yesterday's post, I saw this huge bird flying outside and I thought to myself that it was a pretty big hawk.  Lucky for me I had my camera on my desk and snapped a picture so that I would be able to identify it.  Not a hawk~~a turkey vulture!  I do not consider a turkey vulture as pretty, but I have never before seen a turkey vulture (that I know of).  So, in case maybe you have never seen a turkey vulture, I am sharing the one photo I took. And now I am on the lookout for more turkey vultures or even the same one--just so I can get a few more photos~~nice, clear photos. And if I do, I will be sure to share!  Have a great day!
